Position City

THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Client Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.

 

Duties include:

  • Manage assigned client accounts and receive, plan, and coordinate project work orders for each client account related to facilities maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and handyman/general contractor.
  • Oversee progress of work orders from inception to completion.
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors if necessary to achieve results within budget.
  • Communicate with customers frequently on project and project status.
  • Ensure the timely dispatch of field technicians and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, invoices, reports, emails and other correspondence.
  • Act as the point person for problem resolution and client relations for multiple projects.
  • Must be available to take emergency calls after normal work hours and on weekends.
  • Procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
  • Perform monthly job cost reviews reporting profit status to management.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Microsoft Suite.
  • Familiarity with multiple browsers, multiple tabs, window navigation and managing numerous operating systems.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail and accuracy focused.
  • Able to work well under little supervision.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have supervisory skills to plan, direct, organize, and control the activities of others with limited supervision.

  • Able to work an On-Call Schedule after hours and on weekends (Once every 8 weeks).

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma of GED equivalent
  • Experience in utilizing CMMS (Computerized maintenance management systems )
  • Previous Facilities Management experience a plus

About the job

The focus of this position is to leverage Total Comfort Group’s services to the multi-site commercial market to help increase our customer base, aid in developing our coverage area and increase after-market revenue. The role will be responsible for generating new business through cold calling, social media, mailings, and on-site meetings, as well as for the renewal of business from current clients and up-selling of existing clients. The role will formulate business development strategies and an annual sales plan, meet our annual sales goals, and ensure the client contact database is up to date. The role will also assist in creating marketing materials and attending trade shows and RFPs and other bids/agreement responses as needed.
