We’re excited to have you join our team. As you settle in and acclimate to your new role, we want to ensure you have all the necessary resources for success.
To help guide you through your onboarding journey, we’ve addressed frequently asked questions pertaining to everything from PTO and company benefits to workplace injuries and compliance for your ongoing reference. This resource is designed to assist you with any questions or concerns as you navigate our processes, policies, and culture.
Employees are expected to notify their supervisors as early as possible, but no later than the start of the workday. Additionally, the employee must email payroll@total-cg.com advising that they will not be reporting to work. Service technicians should also notify their dispatcher.
All employees are required to enter PTO requests in Insperity’s Time and Attendance system. Once entered, the employee’s supervisor will receive an alert that a PTO request has been submitted. The PTO will not be entered into the system, until/unless the supervisor approves the request. Please check with your supervisor to confirm that the request has been approved.
Employees can carry over 40 PTO hours maximum from the previous year. Be mindful of the PTO you accrue by checking your totals in Insperity, and be sure to plan some time off throughout the year.
Paid Holidays
Paid Holidays are available after 60 days of employment and include:
Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits upon completing 30 days of employment. Employees can sign into Insperity and complete their paperwork before the 30-day period. There is a window of time to do so, so please speak to Human Resources. If you wait, you will likely have to wait for Open Enrollment in late November to sign up for benefits for the following year.
The actual contribution to the plan, including an up to 3% company match, will start once you have worked 1000 hours. Every employee must first register via the Insperity portal. Employees do not have to wait until they have worked 1000 hours to enroll, , so register today!

Please note that days that follow paid holidays, with the exception of Black Friday, are not considered floating holiday options.
Scheduling to use your floating holiday requires approval from your supervisor and employees must put in the time off request at least one week in advance.
An unused floating holiday will be forfeited at the end of the calendar year.
